I’ve made a standalone digital synthesiser application for my a submission for my degree, so here it is for free. It’s called ‘Science Centre’ and it’s quite heavily tailored towards creating ambient/drone, although it can be used for anything really.
It’s a sixteen voice polyphonic subtractive synthesiser with three oscillators, amplitude envelope, a low/high pass resonant envelope filter, low frequency oscillator, stereo delay and sixteen step sequencer. It has MIDI controller support with full velocity sensitivity.
It has a fairly barebones user interface but I’m really happy with how it sounds.

i just released an album under the name ‘rick ross’ at rickross.bandcamp.com - here’s the artwork that i made for it too. it’s pay what you want for twenty tracks.
it was co-produced by chris mccrory of casual sex/male pattern band/loverman and recorded at his studio in erskine, shady lane.
